The recent incident at Jenson Point involving police racial profiling of a member of our community is intolerable and strikes at the heart of any effort to build a progressive, activist community. This is our HOME. I do not know how to best raise this issue for community discussion and awareness. In fact, I think that the King County Sheriff's Office needs to hear that they owe us an explanation and disciplinary action needs to be taken to ensure that this obscenity does not happen here again. Would the Backbone Campaign have the capacity to organize a community forum quickly to address this matter?
