This is a very important accomplishment, a milestone in our and our allies' long work to bring to the public the lessons Solutionary Rail has gathered from so many allies and experts. Though this comes in a moment of transition and uncertainty, it provides guidance and a foundation for the US to recommit to rail as a solution to problems that transcend political parties, especially if we can commit to returning service to all communities, while ceasing to pollute anyone.  If someone familiar with Solutionary Rail reads this, it will be immediately evident that our ideas have reached the highest levels of sustainable transportation policy. From co-location of transmission to right of way justice for tribes, to the importance of mode shift along with rail electrification, our work is being harnessed and built upon throughout this Action Plan. Solutionary Rail is honored and grateful to have been included in the creation of this landmark document.  |
