Bill Moyer is a radical solutionary, committed to addressing root problems by supporting the capacity, cohesion and vision of a vibrant social movement. 

Sasha Elenko grew up on Vashon Island, graduated from Vashon Island High School in 2018, and went on to study philosophy at the University of Chicago, graduating in 2022. He then served briefly as a volunteer English teacher with the Peace Corps in Ecuador, until, by a twist of fate, an injury sent him back to the United States, where Solutionary Rail stood waiting to capture his imagination.

Augustina Moore is a trans musician & sound artist born on Vashon Island, Washington, now living and working in Seattle. As audio editor / composer and co-producer of Solutionary Rail’s ‘Reconnect America’ podcast, August aims to utilize sound as a potent tool to educate, tell stories, and connect with the listener at a base-level.

Amy Morrison has been involved with the Backbone Campaign since it started in 2004.  She currently serves the Solutionary Rail project as its Managing Director.  

Amy has a degree in Environmental Studies from Huxley College and spent a couple years in Gabon teaching Math as a Peace Corps Volunteer. More recently, she has studied nonprofit management, accounting, fundraising and other areas of nonprofit development. She currently lives in Spokane where she works passionately to restore the Lower Snake River.
