Solutionary Rail can be an integral part of a Green New Deal. Our focus is currently on getting the book into the hands of Congressmembers who support the GND or who are on the Transportation Committee.

We are also making inroads in Washington State; last week we co-hosted the Future of Rail - Safety, Workers, Community & Environment.  We look forward to sharing what we heard from stakeholders at this briefing for legislators, staff, and advocates. (Thank you to Volunteer Mary Paterson who helped organized events, and to Author Bruce Campbell who traveled to the PNW to present about rail safety and lessons we can learn from the Lac Megantic rail disaster.)
