Join this video-call to get an update on the Solutionary Rail campaign and how you can get involved. As always, we will begin with a featured guest. This week it is Joe Halso. Joe is an Associate Attorney at the Sierra Club, where he works to electrify our nation's transportation sector. He focuses on accelerating EV adoption and fostering the transition to a smarter, cleaner and more affordable electricity grid. His work primarily consists of advocacy and litigation before utility regulators, as well as collaborating with a variety of stakeholders to advance clean transportation policies.
Mr. Halso has particular expertise in the design of utility programs to deploy EV charging infrastructure and related legal and policy issues, including regulatory models for this new area of utility investment. He has addressed these issues across the country, including in cases before the California PUC which resulted in the approval of the three largest utility investments in EV charging infrastructure in the nation. Mr. Halso holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan, and a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. He is based in Denver, CO.
