Unmanaged Facebook Post
Please write a letter to your representative for the Duwamish people who have been denied their federal recognition! Go to www.standwithduwamish.com and write what you want to say, then choose a representative and send! Easy and it makes a difference. You can also donate on the page which goes directly to the tribe and is used for continuing the fight! Ask that we honor the treaty we signed with the tribe and that the government, especially Sally Jewell and Ken Washburn who work in the Bureau of Indian Affairs give them back their federal status.
