The Council of Electors (CoE) is established in the Bylaws of the Backbone Campaign. The roles of CoE include, but are not limited to, electing new Board members, filling organizational vacancies, extending the terms of office for existing Board members and, at their discretion, excusing Board members. The Backbone Campaign Council of Electors met Jan 10, 2018 to elect 2018 Board members, in accordance with our bylaws.
The Council of Electors, after thorough review and interviews with members of the board and staff, decided, in its authority under the bylaws, to elect Yvette Arellano, Jim Farrell, Mary Lou Finley, Margaret Flowers, Daniel Lee, Anthony Rogers-Wright, Jeff Snyder, and Sabina Virgo to the Board of Directors for terms of office to expire at the end of 2018.
