As you know, a railroad strike was delayed - but not prevented - by the exceedingly inadequate tentative agreement negotiated on the eve of the strike. As railroad workers reject this agreement and wait out the next "cooling off" period, once again a strike is likely. We now have time to organize and further support railroad workers.

Earlier this month 13 organizations and over 100 individuals signed onto Solutionary Rail's Solidarity Letter.  

Now we need grassroots pressure on Congress and the Biden Administration to solve fundamental problems that created the conditions that are forcing the workers to exercise their right to strike. One ask is to pass H.R. 8649, the “Freight Rail Shipping Fair Market Act.
